Description
Deer Creek State Park is easily accessible from the Wasatch Front; within one-half hour from Provo and an hour from Salt Lake City. The reservoir and park are extremely popular for recreation and camping. Major park activities are water-based, including boating, water skiing, sailing, windsurfing, swimming, and fishing.Deer Creek Reservoir lies in the southwest corner of beautiful Heber Valley, at the base of towering Mount Timpanogos. Its cool waters provide some of Utah's finest year-round fishing.

This park offers campgrounds for individual and group camping and Group day-use facilities are available at Sailboat Beach, Walsberg Bay, Island, and Rainbow Bay
Walsburg Bay, located at the southwest end of the reservoir and is available for group-use camping M - W from June 1 through October 31st. Group day use available Friday – Sunday – June 1st – October 31st (Water may not be available after October 15th) and is open for day use only from November 1st to June 30th

Cancellations are accepted online 24 hours a day, seven days a week, or by calling our Reservation Call Center Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Mountain Time)
Individual site cancellations made four days or more in advance of your scheduled arrival incur an $8.00 cancellation fee in addition to the $8.00 reservation fee. Cancellations made less than four days in advance forfeit one night's fee in addition to the cancellation and reservation fees.
Group area cancellations made 14 days or more in advance of your scheduled arrival incur an $8.00 cancellation fee in addition to the $10.25 reservation fee. Cancellations made less than 14 days in advance forfeit one night's fee in addition to the cancellation and reservation fees.
Please Note: Reservations cannot be cancelled during the Change Freeze Policy period.
Changes: Changes to an existing reservation can be made online 24 hours a day, seven days a week, or by calling our Reservation Call Center Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Changes incur a $5.75 change fee per site per change.
Please note existing reservations cannot be changed during the Change Freeze Policy period.
Change Freeze Policy: Reservations that are booked with nights extending beyond the Maximum Window cannot be Changed or Cancelled for 21 days after the transaction was made.
Refunds: Refunds for cancelled reservations will be made by issuing a credit to the card used for payment. Refunds are not given for bugs or bad weather. In the event of a natural emergency or a sudden campground closure, all camping fees will be refunded.
No Show and Late Arrival: Failure to occupy your reserved campsite by 10 a.m. on the day after the scheduled arrival date will make it available for use by other campers. If you plan to arrive late, or experience a delay, please contact the park to make arrangements.
Most parks have entrance gates that are locked at 10:00 PM (check online or call the park for exact gate closure times). Please plan to arrive prior to gate closure.
Campsite Limits: Only one vehicle is allowed entrance per individual campsite with a reservation. An extra vehicle in your site, space permitting, will be charged an additional fee per night. These fees vary park by park (roughly half the camping fee). For specific information on extra vehicle accommodations or fees please contact the park directly.
Credit Card on File: Reservations for Yurts, Cabins, Tiny Homes and/or Cottages will require a Credit Card on File in case of Damages or additional cleaning fees.
